Shoichi Sakurai's artwork usually centers around abandoned or discarded materials, allowing unique aspects of the object to be celebrated. Made exclusively for the Pink Ball, his bold black and white modern art takes a different direction. Using molding paste on wooden panel, he creates his original kanji calligraphy, "Living In-between."
